Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is recruiting multiple HGV Drivers for shifts across days and nights in Cardiff. You will perform bulk multi-drops (15–20 drops) and handle loading using tail lift and pump truck. Class 1 or 2 entitlement is acceptable, with DCPC and tachograph cards required.

Expect flexible start times, with day rates at £15.83/hr and night rates at £16.33/hr PAYE. The role supports ad-hoc/temp ongoing work across Monday to Sunday, in a warehouse or logistics setting in Cardiff.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C) – essential.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and in date.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Excellent understanding of WTD legislation.
• Prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Strong communication skills and safety mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Cardiff area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE
