Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Leicester area for multiple HGV Driver roles. Both Class 1 and Class 2 drivers are welcome; shifts run Mon-Sun with flexible start times (days and afternoons).

Pay rates are £15.83 per hour PAYE (day) and £16.33 per hour PAYE (night). Location is Leicester LE4 with bulk multi-drop duties and occasional loading/unloading using tail lifts and pump trucks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&Es/C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)
