Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Sheffield area for multiple HGV Drivers. Class 1 and 2 are welcome; drives may operate either class depending on loads. Shifts include days and afternoons, across Monday to Sunday, with flexible start times. Location: Sheffield S25 3AF.

Rate is £15.83 per hour PAYE. Role involves bulk multi-drop and loading/unloading using tail lift. Typical duties include 15–20 drops/collections per shift, following WTD legislation.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle
