Job summary

TRCGroup is recruiting HGV Drivers for a client-based operation in Leicester. Roles involve bulk multi-drop work with 15/20 drops/collections, unloading and loading using tail lift and pump truck. Class 1 or 2 entitlement is accepted, with flexibility on start times and days across a 7-day shift pattern.

Pay rates are Day £15.83/hour PAYE and Night £16.33/hour PAYE. Full UK licence with Class 1 or 2 and DCPC/Digital Tachograph card required, plus at least 6 months experience and clean licence.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement and category C/E/C.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Leicester area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts

Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times

Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times).

Pay Rate:

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE

The role

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
