Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well-known client in the Sheffield area for multiple HGV Drivers. Roles include Class 1 or 2 licenses with flexibility across days, afternoons and across Monday to Sunday. Bulk multi-drop duties with loading/unloading using tail lifts and pump trucks.

Shifts are across days; start times vary with a need for flexibility. Ad-hoc / temp / ongoing position based in Sheffield S25 3AF with PAYE rate £15.83 per hour in day shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence; safety-minded.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willing to undertake a driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections; unload/load using tail lift and pump truck.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE

Location: Sheffield S25 3AF

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

The role

• Bulk multi-drop - 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
