Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd in Gloucester is recruiting for multiple HGV drivers for a leading client. Class 1 or 2 entitlements are accepted, with flexibility on start times across day and night shifts.

Role involves bulk multi-drop (15–20 drops) and loading/unloading with tail lift and pump truck. PAYE pay rates: Day £15.83/hr, Night £16.33/hr. Requires full UK licence, DCPC, tachograph, and 6 months experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (C/E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Gloucester area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply - typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday.

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times).

Pay Rate:

• Day time £15.83 per hour PAYE.
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE.

Location: Gloucester.

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.
