Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the Bolton area for multiple HGV Class 2 Night Drivers. New passes welcome and shifts run Sunday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Hours are 22:00–23:59 starts. Pay rate starts at £16.22 per hour PAYE, rising to £16.92 after 12 weeks. Location is Winwick (WA2). Role is ongoing with potential for permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or Class 2 entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units.
• Handle runs with a focus on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading using tail lift and pump truck when required.
• Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) – drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.

Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts
