Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd, on behalf of a well-known Bolton-area client, are seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team in Winwick (WA2). Shifts run Sunday to Friday with occasional Saturday, starting between 22:00 and 23:59. Pay rates start at £16.22 per hour PAYE, rising to £16.92 after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) entitlement.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

Responsibilities

• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units.
• Handle runs with a focus on safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck when required.

Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) - drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.

Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts

Pay Rates:
