Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd in Nottingham is seeking multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join our client team on an ongoing basis with potential for permanent placement. Shifts run across Monday to Sunday with night and twilight starts.

You'll securely move palletised parcels, handle 1–5 drops, use tail lift and pump truck, maintain accurate paperwork and deliver professional customer service from NG16 3UA.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement is required.
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).

Responsibilities

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to and from sub depots and delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1–5 delivery stops, focusing on safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Utilise tail lift and pump truck equipment for loading and unloading.
• Interact with customers and represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Empty the vehicle and refuel at the end of each shift.
• Complete theory and practical assessments and attend paid training if needed.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Nottingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Shifts: Shifts run across Monday to Sunday

Hours:

Start time Nights: 22:00pm - 23:59pm

Start time Twilights : 14:00pm -16:00pm

Pay Rate:

• Nights - £16.35 per hour
• Twilight -15.43 per hour

Location: Nottingham-NG16 3UA

Job Type: Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent

The role:
