Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver for our Bristol area operations. The role involves delivering goods safely and on time, driving a 18T curtain-sider, and performing routine vehicle checks while adhering to road safety rules across SW England and South Wales.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence (C), Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph card; ideally with 12 months recent driving experience. This is a permanent, full-time position with a Monday–Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (C) with Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card required and current.

Responsibilities

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with regulations.
• Complete vehicle checks and report faults promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Handle manual movement of goods and operate pallet trucks as needed.
• Deliver to customers across SW England and South Wales.
• Use handheld terminal to track deliveries and proof of delivery.
• Park responsibly and maintain vehicle cleanliness and security.
• Comply with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Support customers with courteous, professional service.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am start
Location: Bristol, BS10 7TY

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Operate Class 2, 18T Curtain sided vehicle
• Use handheld terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver our products to kerb side
• Operate pallet truck when delivering goods
• Delivering around SW England and South Wales

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
