Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our Bristol-area operations, delivering goods safely and on time across SW England and South Wales. The role involves early start shifts, Monday to Friday, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C) and Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card required
• Ideally 12 months recent driving experience

Responsibilities

• Drive safely in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code at all times
• Complete vehicle checks regularly
• Manual handling of customer products
• Operate Class 2, 18T Curtain sided vehicle
• Use handheld terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver products to kerb side and around SW England and South Wales

We’re now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Operate Class 2, 18T Curtain sided vehicle
• Use handheld terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver our products to kerb side
• Operate pallet truck when delivering goods
• Delivering around SW England and South Wales
