Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Rugby is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to support our operations, delivering goods safely and on time. You will work in a busy distribution network with strict adherence to drivers’ hours and road safety guidelines.

A typical day involves vehicle checks, manual handling, completing multiple drops to BP forecourts, and maintaining high safety standards. The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, with 12 months’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with health and safety standards, adhering to Highway Code and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Driving a 26T refrigerated vehicle with tail-lift
• Completing 4-6 drops a day to BP forecourts
