Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team. You will be delivering goods safely and on time, following Drivers' Hours rules and health and safety standards.

This permanent, full-time role offers regular Monday–Friday shifts, a 6am start, and the opportunity to work across South West England and South Wales. You’ll need a valid HGV Class 2 license, CPC, and tachograph card.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence (C) is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Around 12 months driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2, 18T curtain-sided vehicle in a safe, efficient manner.
• Carry out vehicle checks and comply with WTD regulations.
• Handle manual handling of customer products and use handheld terminal.
• Deliver to customers across SW England and South Wales.
• Operate pallet truck during deliveries and ensure safety.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Operate Class 2, 18T Curtain sided vehicle
• Use handheld terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver our products to kerb side
• Operate pallet truck when delivering goods
• Delivering around SW England and South Wales

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
