Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known client in Swindon for multiple HGV Class 2 (CAT C) drivers. Roles include night shifts Sunday to Friday and a Sunday morning option with 4 paid hours. Training and safety assessments are provided to successful candidates.

Pay rates are £15.46–£16.16 per hour PAYE at nights and £14.36–£15.11 per hour PAYE for Sunday mornings. Location is Swindon, SN3 with ongoing work and potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Category C) is required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and in date.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units and conduct collections.
• Use tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.
• Complete theory and practical assessment and a few days paid training if the assessment is successful.

Roles:

• HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Friday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)
• Sunday morning drivers - you will work 4 hours but be paid for 8

Hours:

• Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm
• Sunday am - 6am-7am

Pay Rate:
