Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area for HGV Class 2 drivers (CAT C). New pass welcome and opportunities for ongoing work with potential permanent roles.

Deliver palletised parcels to sub depots, operate tail lifts, ensure timely and safe deliveries, and maintain a clean vehicle while coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams. Paid training and a short driving assessment are included.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

New Pass Welcome!

Roles:

• HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Friday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)
• Sunday morning drivers - you will work 4 hours but be paid for 8

Hours:

• Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm
• Sunday am - 6am-7am

Pay Rate:

• Nights - £15.46 per hour PAYE rising to £16.16
• Sunday am - £14.36 per hour PAYE rising to £15.11

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:
