Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Mansfield. Earn £16.79 - £17.91 per hour with weekly pay and adhoc start times.

As a driver, you will perform pre- and post-trip checks, keep accurate delivery records, and follow all safety and regulatory requirements including driver hours and WTD rules. On-site support and modern facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (LGV) licence and CPC
• Recent HGV driving experience preferred
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Mansfield.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £16.79 - £17.91 per hour.

Adhoc work available with various start times.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 2/C Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 6 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
