Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work in Newport. The role involves night shifts from 6pm, Monday to Friday, with on-site 24/7 support and modern facilities. You will perform time critical deliveries and ensure vehicle safety through pre/post trip checks.

Applicants need a Class 1 licence, DCPC and Tachograph cards, and must have no more than 6 points or disqualifications. The position offers career progression opportunities and competitive pay rates of £14.50–£18.50 per hour, with

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to understand and carry out vehicle checks to ensure safety.
• Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Must hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tachograph cards, and have no more than 6 points, no DD/ DR convictions.

This is a full time role, working nights,

Monday to Friday.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for:

• Time critical deliveries / collections thereafter.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with the driver's hours and WTD legislation

You must have a minimum of 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards, and no more than 6 points, no DD/ DR Code convictions.
