Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers based in Minworth. The role offers weekend shifts with early morning start times and requires a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, plus DCPC & Tacho cards.

Applicants should have at least 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience and a clean licence with no more than 6 points. You will conduct vehicle checks, maintain delivery records, and comply with all safety and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1/C+E licence.
• DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions.
• Excellent communication and ability to carry out vehicle checks and report defects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks and other paperwork in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Minworth.

Consolidated Pay Rates (Paid Weekly)

The rate of pay is £16.55- £19.05 per hour.

This role offers weekend shifts working the hours are:

• Saturday to Monday, with the start times between 4am to 10am
• Friday to Sunday and the start times are between: 6pm-11pm

Your Time at Work

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.

Applicants will comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
