Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking weekend HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing shifts in Lutterworth (LE17). Roles involve palletised deliveries, safe driving, and accurate paperwork, with occasional loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck.

Weekend day, night, and twilight slots available, with start times from early morning. Applicants must have a Class 2 licence, DCPC, tachograph card, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (C).
• Proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence; minor offences only.
• Understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Willing to undertake a short driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots.
• Maintain safe driving practices and accurate documentation.
• Typically complete 1–2 runs during the day.
• Assist with loading/unloading using tail lift and pump truck.
• Engage with customers professionally on behalf of the company.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on weekends.

Shifts:

• Weekend Day Drivers - predominately Sunday but potential for Saturdays.
• Start times between 04:00am - 06:00am
• Night shift 01:00am
• Twilight shift 14:00pm

Pay Rate:

• Class 2 Days- £15.11 per hour PAYE
• Class 2 Nights - £16.92 per hour PAYE
• Class 2 Twilight - £16.02 Per hour PAYE

The role:
