Job summary

Jewson Exeter is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our delivery team. You will be responsible for safe, efficient delivery of building materials to customers, with a professional and friendly approach.

The role includes loading/unloading, crane operation, and working to a varied daily route. A valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph are required. HIAB training provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Have a valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers with a professional approach.
• Load and unload goods and operate the crane when required.
• Assist team members and contribute to efficient daily deliveries.
• Maintain safety and compliance during driving and loading activities.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we'll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you'll do, to where you will be delivering. You'll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it's not a necessity
