Job summary

Jewson Glasgow is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our delivery team. You will deliver building materials to customer sites, operate a vehicle-mounted crane, and assist with loading and unloading as required.

Full training and a clear pathway for career progression are provided within the STARK Building Materials UK group. A CPC card and Digi Tachograph are required, with a friendly, professional approach to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card required.
• Multidrop experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load/unload goods and operate the crane when required.
• Support team members as needed during daily drops.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
