Job summary

Jewson in Paisley is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join our team. You will deliver building materials to customers, operate the HIAB crane, load and unload with care, and represent the company with a professional approach.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph card; HIAB training provided. The role offers social working hours, a funded induction, generous holiday allowance and pension.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• CPC and Digi Tachograph card required.
• Multidrop experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Load and unload goods, operate the HIAB crane, assist teammates as needed.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
