Job summary

Jewson in Colchester is seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 driver to join our delivery team. You will deliver building materials to customers, load and unload loads, and operate the HIAB crane with safety and expertise.

The role offers a fully funded induction at our training academy and ongoing CPC/driver development. Expect varied daily routes, a supportive team, and opportunities for career progression within STARK Building Materials UK.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph are required.
• Multidrop experience is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers, loading/unloading and operating the HIAB crane.
• Support teammates and maintain a professional, friendly customer service approach.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
