Job summary

Jewson Hammersmith is seeking an experienced Area HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver building materials to customers across a cluster of branches in London. You will load/unload, operate a crane, and support the team while ensuring a high standard of service.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC card, and Digi Tachograph, with multidrop experience preferred. Training academy and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat. C) licence required.
• Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card required.
• Multidrop experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load and unload deliveries and operate the crane as required.
• Support team members and cover absence within a designated area.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area. You will be assigned to our Jewson Hammersmith branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Acton, Lambeth, Ruislip & Wembley.

You will be paid travel and subsistence.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
