Job summary

Panda is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our Widnes depot, specialising in Artic (Walking Floor) operations. You will operate moving floor trailers delivering waste/recycling materials regionally, with a 58-hour week and a Monday–Friday pattern.

We offer a 40-hour core contract with overtime at £19.07 per hour, a company pension, and uniform/PPE. Join a high-performing team and help keep the country moving with reliable and safe service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence; up-to-date Driver CPC; Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 2 years driving Class 1 vehicles; moving floor/walking floor experience is a plus.
• Good knowledge of UK driver compliance and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 Artic Moving Floor / Walking Floor trailers.
• Work Monday to Friday, average 58 hours per week; overtime opportunities.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and document tachograph records.
• Adhere to transport laws, road regulations and site safety protocols.
• Provide professional, friendly service at all collection/delivery points.
