Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client's site based in Stafford. Nationwide deliveries and trunking roles with fixed shifts and ad hoc work are available.

Role requires minimum 1 year HGV experience, Digi card, DQC and UK licence C+E. Staffline supports drivers with on-site parking and comprehensive recruitment services across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on the licence.
• Digi card and DQC required.
• UK driving licence C+E.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers.
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks and paperwork in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including PPE use and health and safety regulations.

Great opportunity to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our clients nationwide, palletised temperature-controlled distribution delivering to major RDC's wholesalers and industrial customers.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client's site based in Stafford.

Consolidated pay rates £17.35 - £21.85 per hour.

Fixed shift patterns and ad hoc work available.

Your Time at Work

• Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers
• Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations
