Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Crewe is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our permanent, full-time team. You will complete trunking runs, perform daily vehicle checks, and ensure accurate transport documentation while adhering to UK driving hours and safety standards.

This role starts at 04:00 on weekdays with responsibilities including training duties to fellow staff and representing the company professionally and punctually.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
• Worked in a training role previously
• Passionate about training and improving capabilities

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking runs between distribution centres, customer depots and Local Stores.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all road transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport documentation.
• Adhere to driver hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures at all times.
• Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing the company.
• Delivery training as and when required to HGV Staff members.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - 04:00am start times
