Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Gloucestershire is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring operations run smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time.

A permanent, full-time position with shifts starting around 01:00am, offering on-site parking, an on-site canteen, and a generous pension scheme plus employee benefits. Commitment to health and safety and multi-drop responsibilities on-site are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Willingness to perform multidrop duties on-site for multiple companies.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations.
• Deliver to storefronts and offload roller cages where required.
• Maintain health and safety standards and adhere to the Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• You will be delivering to various storefronts which will be offloading roller cages
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will have minimum 3 months class 1 driving experience as this is essential
• Happy to fulfill a multidrop role working for multiple companies on site
