Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Avonmouth is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to ensure smooth operations, delivering goods safely and on time.

You will work 4 on 4 off shifts starting early, perform vehicle checks, and adhere to safety standards while multi-dropping for multiple sites. Valid HGV Class 1, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are required, with at least 3 months’ experience. On-site parking and company benefits available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Happy to fulfill a multidrop role for multiple companies on site.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Deliver to various storefronts and offload roller cages.
• Perform regular vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Manually handle customer products as required.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - Permanent Days - Between 04:00am and 07:00am start times

Location: SWROC Multi User - Avonmouth - Severn Beach - BS35 4DF

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• You will be delivering to various storefronts which will be offloading roller cages
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

this Role Would Suit People Who
