Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support operations in Castleford, delivering goods safely and on time. The role involves early start shifts (1am-6am) and working Monday to Friday, with a permanent full-time contract.

Your day will include safe driving, vehicle checks, and adherence to health and safety standards, including manual handling of goods and occasional overnight stays on some drops.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 6 months driving experience.
• Comfortable using a Pallet truck.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with health and safety standards, adhering to The Highway Code and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Staying overnight when required on certain drops.

• Manual handling of customer products
• Staying overnight when required on certain drops.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
• Comfortable using a Pallet truck when required
