Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Northampton is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to support our logistics operations. This is a permanent, full-time position with early shift patterns on a Monday to Friday rota, delivering goods safely and on time.

A typical day involves safe driving, daily vehicle checks, adherence to Driver Hours regulations, 4–5 daily drops, returns collection, and no weekend or bank holiday shifts. Join a team keeping the country moving.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards at all times and adhering to The Highway Code.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• 4-5 Drops a day with some planned nights out.
• All deliveries are offloaded by customer; no manual handling involved.
• Collecting returns (Pallets and waste).
• No weekend or Bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.
