Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to ensure our operations run smoothly and deliveries are made on time. The role involves driving safely, multi-site deliveries, and strict compliance with health and safety standards at all times.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, and have a minimum of three months Class 1 experience. On-site duties include offloading and manual handling where required, with opportunities for flexible patterns

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C) and Driver CPC qualification.
• Have Digital Tachograph Card and knowledge of DVSA rules.
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Be happy to perform multidrop runs on site across multiple companies.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently, complying with Driver Hours & Working Time Directive.
• Deliver to shopfronts and offload roller cages.
• Perform regular vehicle checks and maintain safety standards.
• Assist with manual handling of customer goods when required.

Pay Rate: £50,191.00
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday - between 17:00pm and 20:00pm start time
Location: SWROC Multi User - Avonmouth - Severn Beach - BS35 4DF

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• You will be delivering to various shopfronts which will be offloading roller cages
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will have minimum 3 months class 1 driving experience as this is essential
• Happy to fulfill a multidrop role working for multiple companies on site
