Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Class 1 HGV Driver at Avonmouth (BS35 4DF). You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly, delivering goods safely and on time, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and early start times.

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Deliver to various storefronts and offload roller cages.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and Highway Code at all times.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks.
• Perform manual handling of customer products.

Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off - Permanent Days - Between 04:00am and 07:00am start times

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• You will be delivering to various storefronts which will be offloading roller cages
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You will have minimum 3 months class 1 driving experience as this is essential
• Happy to fulfill a multidrop role working for multiple companies on site
