Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 Day Driver at Marsh Leys, Bedford. The role involves wagon and draw vehicle duties with full training provided, collecting and delivering across the south of England, and driving in line with regulations.

Permanent full-time position with 10:00 start times, paid breaks, and benefits including a pension, 28 days holiday, and flexible pattern discussions at interview.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E).
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery at various home delivery sites across the south of England.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Duties will be on a wagon and draw vehicle - training provided
• Collection and delivery and collection of boxes at various home delivery sites across the south of England
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Must have 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience
• Wagon and drag experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided
