Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Preston area for multiple nights-shift HGV Class 1 Drivers. You will secure palletised parcels, trunk to the hub, and ensure safe driving with precise paperwork while representing the company professionally.

Starting shifts are 15:00 to 19:00, with pay between £17.24-£18.25 per hour PAYE depending on time and week. Ongoing role based in Preston, PR2.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Be compliant with Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport palletised parcels securely.
• Perform trunk runs to the hub.
• Maintain safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Interact with customers and present the company professionally.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.

Shifts Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Start Times:

15:00pm - 19:00pm starts

Pay Rates:

• Between 6am to 10pm - £17.24 per hour PAYE rising to £17.75 after 12 weeks
• Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE
