Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd (Yorkshire) Limited in Leeds is seeking HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing work. Shifts start at 20:00, Monday to Friday, with 810 hour shifts and up to 2 runs per night.

Pay is £17.77 per hour PAYE and duties include trunking between client hubs, vehicle checks, and paperwork accuracy. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi Card, and have at least 6 months driving experience with a clean minor-offence record.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• 6 months experience required.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the clients hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per night.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.
