Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well known client in the Preston area for multiple HGV Class 1 drivers to join the night‑shift team. You will securely move palletised parcels, perform trunk runs to the hub, and maintain accurate paperwork. Shift times run 15:00–19:00 starts with Monday to Friday pattern.

PAYE rates are £17.24–£17.75 per hour by day and £18.25 per hour at night. A full UK licence with Class 1 entitlement, valid DCPC and tachograph card are required, with at

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

Responsibilities

• Move and transport palletised parcels securely.
• Perform trunk runs to the hub.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and records.
