Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Preston area for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join on night shifts. Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times between 15:00 and 19:00. Pay rates range from £17.24 to £18.25 per hour depending on time of shift and probation period.

Location is Preston, PR2 with ongoing work. Responsibilities include palletised parcel movements, trunk runs to the hub, safe driving, accurate paperwork, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team on nights.

Shifts Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Start Times:

15:00pm - 19:00pm starts

Pay Rates:

• Between 6am to 10pm - £17.24 per hour PAYE rising to £17.75 after 12 weeks
• Between 10pm - 6am - £18.25 per hour PAYE
