Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known client in the Preston area for HGV Drivers (Class 1 and Class 2). Roles are ongoing, shift Monday to Friday with a 10:00am start. Pay £15.36 per hour PAYE.

You'll securely move palletised parcels, perform 15–25 deliveries/collections on return, and maintain safe driving with accurate paperwork. You may assist with loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck, presenting a professional image to customers.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (Cat C/C&E).
• 6 months experience required.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• Securely move and transport palletised parcels.
• 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
• Focus on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading of roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
