Job summary

JRL Plant & Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent position based in Vauxhall, SW8. The role requires driving an articulated flatbed with some nights out. Immediate start available.

You must hold a Class 1 licence, full CPC and Digi-tacho, and have a good grasp of driver hours and paperwork. UK driving experience and knowledge of site deliveries are preferred.

Qualifications

HGV Class 1 licence
Experience of driving in the UK
Experience of delivering construction equipment / materials preferred
Full CPC and Digi-tacho card
Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time
Ability to complete paperwork

Responsibilities

Drive HGV articulated flatbed
Some nights out / tramping may be required
Follow EU drivers hours rules and Working Time Directive

Role and responsibilities

Driving HGV articulated flatbed
Some nights out / tramping will be required
Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
Must understand the various types of ticket and aggregate types
