Job summary

JRL Plant & Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent role based in Borehamwood, WD6, starting immediately. You will operate articulated flatbeds and may have nights out, adhering to driver hours and regulations.

The role requires full CPC, Digi-tacho, and UK driving experience, with strong paperwork skills and courteous communication. Uniforms provided; 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• Experience driving in the UK.
• Full CPC and Digi-tacho card.
• Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time.
• Ability to complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV articulated flatbed.
• Some nights out / tramping.

JRL Plant & Logistics are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent position based in Borehamwood, WD6. This position is available to start immediately.

Role And Responsibilities

Driving HGV articulated flatbed

Some nights out / tramping will be required

Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive

Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.

Must understand the various types of ticket and aggregate types

Qualifications And Experience

HGV Class 1 licence

Experience of driving in the UK

Experience Of Delivering Construction Equipment / Materials Preferred

Full CPC and Digi-tacho card

Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time

Ability to complete paperwork

Salary & Benefits

£17.00 per hour Monday to Friday

performance related bonus after 3 months

£18.50 per hour weekends

£22.50 Nights Out

10 hour shifts

Full Uniform Provided

28 days holiday (Pro Rata)
