Job summary

JRL Plant & Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent position based in Vauxhall, SW8. The role requires driving an articulated flatbed with some nights out. Immediate start available.

You must hold a Class 1 licence, full CPC and Digi-tacho, and have a good grasp of driver hours and paperwork. UK driving experience and knowledge of site deliveries are preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Experience of driving in the UK
• Experience of delivering construction equipment / materials preferred
• Full CPC and Digi-tacho card
• Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time
• Ability to complete paperwork

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV articulated flatbed
• Some nights out / tramping may be required
• Follow EU drivers hours rules and Working Time Directive
• Communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times
• Understand ticket and aggregate types
