Job summary

JRL Plant & Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent role based near Biggleswade. Role includes driving an articulated flatbed and some nights out.

You must comply with EU driver hours rules and Working Time Directive, and communicate professionally at all times. The ideal candidate holds a HGV Class 1 licence with Full CPC and Digi-tacho, UK driving experience, and can complete paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

Must hold HGV Class 1 licence, Full CPC and Digi-tacho card.
Experience driving in the UK and delivering construction equipment preferred.
Good understanding of drivers hours and working time.

Responsibilities

Drive HGV articulated flatbed.
Occasional nights out/tramping as required.
Communicate courteously with customers and coworkers at all times.
Complete paperwork accurately and on time.

Role and responsibilities

Driving HGV articulated flatbed
Some nights out / tramping will be required
Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
Must understand the various types of ticket and aggregate types
