Thames Reinforcements Ltd in Sheerness, Kent, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent role. Immediate start available for a position based in Sheerness.

The role involves driving an HGV articulated flatbed, with some nights out, and requires adherence to EU driver hours rules and WTD. You will need to communicate courteously and manage paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence required.
• Experience of driving in the UK preferred.
• Full CPC and Digi-tacho card required.
• Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time.
• Ability to complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

Thames Reinforcements Ltd is based in Sheerness, Kent. Our state-of-the-art factory is a purpose built rebar plant with a production capacity of 1500 tonnes of CARES approved cut & bent reinforcement every week.

HGV Class 1 - Artic

JRL Plant & Logistics are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for a permanent position based in Sheerness, Kent. This position is available to start immediately.

Role and responsibilities

• Driving HGV articulated flatbed
• Some nights out / tramping will be required
• Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
• Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times.
• Must understand the various types of ticket and aggregate types

Qualifications and Experience

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Experience of driving in the UK
• Experience of delivering construction equipment / materials preferred
• Full CPC and Digi-tacho card
• Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time
• Ability to complete paperwork

Salary & Benefits

• £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday
• performance related bonus after 3 months
• £18.50 per hour weekends
• £22.50 Nights Out
• 10 hour shifts
• Full Uniform Provided
• 28 days holiday (Pro Rata)
