Job summary

Driving Force Recruitment is assisting a Peterborough-based client to recruit an HGV1 Driver. You will perform self tipping and manual handling with 2–3 drops at RDC-Depo, on shifts from 03:00–07:00 or 15:00–19:00, typically 9–12 hours.

Applicants must hold a UK driving licence, Digi card and Driver CPC, with at least 12 months Class 1 experience in the UK. PAYE rates apply: Day £18.49, Night £19.61, Sat £20.17, Sun £21.63.

Qualifications

• Must have UK driving licence, Digi card and Driver CPC.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving class 1 in the UK.
• Good communication and a flexible can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV1 vehicles for RDC–Depo with 2–3 drops.
• Manual handling and self tipping as required.
• Unloading duties and ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Shifts include early mornings and late afternoons (9–12 hours).
• Travel into London may be required.
