Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

The role covers afternoons and night shifts with some daytime opportunities. Pay is £18.29 per hour PAYE (6am-10pm) or £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm-6am). Trunking to the hub is the main duty, along with a short driving assessment, WTD compliance, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid and in date.
• At least 6 months' driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Solid understanding of WTD legislation.
• Willing to undertake a short driving assessment.
• Excellent communication and safety-first mindset.
