Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for our well-known client in the Darlington area. Roles include trunking runs to the hub with afternoons and nights, and potential days. Pay rates: £18.29–£18.79 per hour PAYE (day), £18.79 per hour PAYE (night).

Location: Darlington, DL1. Ad-hoc/Temp/Ongoing position with hours across the week. Qualifications include a full UK driving licence Class 1 (C&E), valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card, and at least 6 months experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.

Durham Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times).

Pay Rate:

• £18.29 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)

• £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
