Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Sheffield area for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights, and some days may be required. Trunking to hub is a core duty, with training and a driver assessment provided.

Rates are competitive: £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am–10pm) and £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm–6am). Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 licence and DCPC, with flexible start times and a safety-first

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
