Job summary

TRC Yorkshire is seeking multiple HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Leeds. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights, and occasional days. PAYE pay: £17.79/hour (6am–10pm) or £18.29/hour (10pm–6am). Location: Leeds LS27. Job type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing.

Role involves trunking to the hub; candidates must hold Class 1 entitlement, DCPC, tachograph card, and have driving experience, with flexible start times and good communication.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate

• £17.79 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.29 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
