Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our well known client in the Darlington area for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights, and some days possible. Pay is £18.29 per hour PAYE (6am–10pm) or £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm–6am). Location: Darlington, DL1.

Job type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing. Trunking to hub is a key duty. Requirements include full UK licence with Class 1 entitlement, valid DCPC and tachograph card, 6 months experience, offences

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: afternoons and night mainly with potential for occasional days (drivers must be flexible with start times)

Pay Rate:

• £18.29 per hour PAYE (6am to 10pm)
• £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm to 6am)
